Multiservice
In the past, operators were traditionally
focused on providing a single service (e.g., telecoms
focused on phone service, cable companies focused on
TV). However with widespread deployment of IP technology,
operators can offer triple-play, quadruple-play, gaming
packages, etc. Operators offering more than a single
service are multiservice providers.
