Executive Biographies

Eric Pillevesse,
Co-Founder and CEO, Highdeal S.A.

Prior to founding Highdeal, Eric spent 12 years working in the R&D labs of France Telecom on such technologies as micro-kernel architecture, distributed architecture, email addressing, and Unix and Internet mediation platforms. His last project dealt with object-based technology, and more specifically for the optimization of rating for Internet and next-generation communication services, which gave birth to Highdeal's core software. From 1991 to 2000, he also developed and taught a curriculum at the University of Caen that focused on the evolutions in the standardized object language and middleware CORBA. Eric graduated with an advanced degree from Caen University in artificial intelligence.

Camilla Dahlen,
President, Highdeal Inc.

Camilla joined Highdeal from EHPT, the former joint venture between Ericsson and Hewlett-Packard and independent software vendor of OSS/BSS solutions, where she was part of the original team responsible for developing the activities in South America, which later became one of EHPT's most successful markets. She continued her career with EHPT in North America, with sales responsibilities for the Northeast. After some time in the Silicon Valley, she has returned to New York and is in charge of Highdeal's operations in North America, with a particular focus on Sales. She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Boston College and a bilingual MBA in Spanish/English from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain.

Sylvie Simon
Co-Founder and EVP, R&D

Sylvie began her involvement with Highdeal's development at France Telecom's R&D labs where she managed several software R&D teams covering topics such as IP telephony, e-commerce and LDAP directories. Previously, her work focused on researching formal specification languages and artificial vision at IBM research centers in both Paris and New York. She has an advanced degree in mathematics from Paris University and a PhD from Ecole Normale Supérieure

Isabelle Roussin,
EVP, Marketing

Prior to joining Highdeal, Isabelle managed IBM Global Service Messaging & Groupware Hosting Department. She also led teams at France Telecom, responsible for developing mobile services and e-business hosting offerings. Her client support and marketing experience includes technical training and marketing responsibilities for the artificial intelligence business areas of Thomson and Ilog in France. She also worked for Advanced Decision System and Bechtel in the United States. Isabelle has an advanced computer science degree from INSA, as well as from Sup Telecom Paris in GUI and Artificial Intelligence

Eric Lavenir,
EVP, Sales EMEA

Armed with a doctorate in Physics Theory, Eric Lavenir started his career as a researcher at the Centre National de Recherce Scientifique (CNRS). In 1987 he took this laboratory experience into the corporate world as Program Director for Instruments SA where he created pilot programs for measuring instruments. This experience led him to integrate the sales teams at Siemens Nixdorf, Informix and Sun Microsystems successively over the next years. Just before joining Highdeal Eric was the Global Account Manager for Portal Software, where he defined and put into place the company's sales strategy.

Christophe Justeau,
CSO

Christophe has over 20 years of international experience in the development of business technological products and services, including sixteen years in Europe and four years in the US. He was previously the Executive Vice President of Alliances at Highdeal, the Vice President of the ‘Telecom Sales Group’ at EVIDIAN (the software division of BULL), and the Sales and Marketing Director at Capgemini.  Christophe graduated from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and holds a degree in Law.

Fergus O'Reilly,
CTO

Fergus came to Highdeal from AOL iPlanet where he was Principal Product Manager for the company's eCommerce Solutions. Prior to that he was co-founder and CEO of FindShare, Inc., a provider of Internet knowledge management solutions. His other international experience includes management and technical positions at 3Com, Capgemini and Ascent Technology. Fergus holds a BA degree in Computer Science from Trinity College in Dublin and was born and raised in Ireland.

Caroline Tahon
VP, HR Legal G&A

Caroline joined Highdeal in 2000. Prior to that she developed the international activities of the legal department at France Telecom R&D. She was instrumental in international licensing activities, including the successful MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 patent pool. She was also part of the team that establisehd the first R&D lab in California. In Highdeal, she is responsible for the legal, human resources and administrative activities, at a worldwide level. She holds a Law degree from the University of Paris XI, from the Universidad Complutense, Madrid and a LLM from Santa Clara University, California.
