Highdeal called upon four venture capital firms over the course of two separate funding rounds in order to finance its development. The first round took place in February 2000 and raised 5 million Euros. After a year's operation, Highdeal was able to conclude a second round bringing in 20 million Euros. The firms participating in Highdeal's capital are: CDC Innovation, Newbury Ventures, 3i, and Innovacom.
