Mana provides internet
services in French Polynesia and is a wholly owned subsidiary
of the French Polynesian Postal and Telecommunications Department
(OPT). Mana has had good success in providing leading edge internet
solutions to consumers and businesses. It
has achieved this despite the challenges of geography: Mana addresses
a population that, while small at only 250,000, is dispersed
across 4.5 million square kilometers, comprising more than 100
remote islands and atolls in the middle of the South Pacific
Ocean, roughly half-way between South America and Australia.
