AOL France selects Highdeal
and Sun Microsystems to deliver pricing and rating for new telephony
service

in pricing and rating for new mobile and IP services, has reinforced
its relationship
with AOL with the signing of AOL France, just months after being
selected by AOL Germany. The software suite Highdeal Transactive® is
deployed on Sun Microsystems servers enabling AOL France to price
for their new residential fixed line telephony service.
The service launch is integral to AOL’s strategy to introduce
telephony services to the masses. To launch their new service,
AOL looked for a flexible, future proof pricing and rating solution
capable of developing innovative new offers for any existing and
potential future services. Usage based billing (per minute) was
recently added to the AOL offer base and takes into account calls
to mobiles at distinct rates.
