AOL, Portus & Parla.it: Three
operator wins for joint Highdeal and Netcentrex integrated VoIP
offering
Netcentrex and Highdeal partnership is further strengthened
with combined service provider solution for the enterprise market
Paris, October
3, 2005 – Highdeal,
the leading provider of pricing, rating and billing solutions for emerging mobile
and IP services, and Netcentrex, the leading enabler of converged
voice-video-data networks and next-generation services, have
further cemented their partnership by offering a pre-integrated
solution for both the residential and enterprise markets. The
new joint solution has already won Highdeal and
Netcentrex three key deals in Europe with Portus, Parla.it and
AOL Germany.
Portus, a green field service provider
in Croatia, is one of the first to implement the solution from
Highdeal and Netcentrex.
Portus chose the partnership in order to deliver hosted IP telephony
services to both the enterprise and residential market. Portus’s
launch of IP-based enterprise services, will bring together Netcentrex
Business Services® and Highdeal Transactive® for pricing,
rating and billing. The solution addresses the needs of the IP
services market for pre and postpaid services, while enabling
the customization of offers. This is the first live reference
of its kind for the enterprise market.
“With
Highdeal and Netcentrex, we have been able to define and launch
our products quickly and within tight budget constraints.
We needed an easy to deploy, integrated, and future proof solution.
We now have a highly competitive offer which has enabled us to
attract customers and generate revenues in a challenging market.” said
Darko Parun, CEO of Portus.
In addition to Portus, Parla.it, a subsidiary of France Telecom,
has launched the joint Highdeal/Netcentrex solution to offer
residential IP services to customers in Italy. This has enabled
quick implementation of new price plans and the delivery of advanced
billing services.
“We needed VoIP services which could be rapidly
deployed and easily integrated with our existing infrastructure, while delivering
a high quality, customized offering. The deployment was completed
and services launched within 6 months,” said Eric Le Bihan,
Managing Director of Parla.it.
AOL Germany has also chosen the Highdeal/Netcentrex solution
to launch AOL Phone®, a new residential VoIP service. IP
telephony services are based on MyCall® from Netcentrex combined
with the rating engine from Highdeal Transactive®, which
has been easily integrated into the existing billing system.
”AOL chose
Highdeal and Netcentrex because of their reputation, technical
expertise and ability to manage the most challenging
projects,” explained Mr Jens Pape, Vice President Technology & Operations
at AOL Germany. “The success
of this common solution has enabled us to offer a variety of
value added, next generation
communications services to our customers.”
“Our partnership
enables us to provide comprehensive, reliable solutions tailored
to the complex needs of service providers,” said
Eric Pillevesse, President of Highdeal. “With
our solution, operators can strengthen their offering by introducing
value
added next generation IP services such as Triple Play and video
services” added Olivier Hersent, President and CTO of Netcentrex.
