Highdeal
achieves 85% growth in 2004 and turns EBITDA positive in Q4
Highdeal leads the market in pricing, rating
and settlement solutions for new and emerging services
Paris -
April 5, 2005 – Highdeal, the leading provider
of pricing, rating and settlement solutions, today announced
the company achieved 85 per cent growth in 2004 and broke even
by EBITDA standard during the second half of 2004.
Highdeal’s results demonstrate that rating is increasingly seen as a
central resource within service oriented architectures. Rating has proven to
be an integral element in effectively managing rapid product development and
rollout of new revenue generating services, such as push-to-talk, multimedia
and triple play services.
Significant accomplishments in 2004
include:

Customers: Highdeal signed deals with 30 new
customers in 2004:
- Mobile
Data: 19 new customers including deals in mobile data
rating, M2M services, roaming and profitability simulation
with mobile operators and MVNOs
- VoIP & IP
Services: 11 new customers including B2B IPCentrex,
switchless operators and residential triple play operators

IPlay3 - An industry first
In 2004, Highdeal partnered with NetCentrex
and Envivio to form IPlay3, the industry’s first triple
play consortium. The IPlay3 solution provides a complete, integrated,
flexible and cost effective triple play solution that merges
advanced VoIP, IP-TV and BSS/OSS technologies.

Awards
IPlay3 has already received two awards; the
Frost & Sullivan Product of the Year Award 2005 and Technology
Marketing Corporation’s Internet Telephony magazine also
named IPlay3 Product of the
Year. Highdeal is also a finalist in the Red
Herring Top 100 Private Companies in Europe which recognizes
innovative companies and was recently selected as a finalist
for the “Most Innovative
Billing Product” in the World
Billing Awards 2005.

Highdeal’s success is based on its
ability to provide a flexible, intuitive solution that enables
real-time rating for convergent services in today’s ever-changing
market. The robust nature of Highdeal Transactive® and Highdeal’s
proven track record in rating implementations are just some of
the many reasons that leading companies such as US-based M2M
application service provider, SensorLogic, and Parla.it, an Italian
subsidiary of France Telecom offering VoIP services, have chosen
Highdeal to deliver efficient offer management, pricing, rating,
billing and partner settlement capabilities.
Eric Le Bihan, Managing Director of Parla.it
explains: “We needed a made-to-measure
solution in the context of tight time frame. The ability to customize
offers, the flexibility, ease of use and the high performance
of Highdeal Transactive tipped the scales heavily in favor of
this product.”
In February 2005, Highdeal further boosted
its offering by introducing capabilities aligned with the 3GPP
Online Charging System standards to help operators generate revenues
from new IMS-based multimedia services such as instant messaging,
video sharing and multiplayer gaming.
“We are
thrilled to have had such a successful 2004”,
said Eric Pillevesse, CEO of Highdeal. “Multimedia
services are poised for explosive growth and, thanks to our
proven track record in real-time rating, we’re in a terrific
position to be a worldwide leader in delivering pricing and
rating solutions that can manage the demands of the industry.”
To demonstrate this, Highdeal invites operators
and solution providers to participate in the Highdeal Challenge
by submitting their most innovative and difficult pricing and
bundling scenarios including multi-party settlement, with the
chance of winning a luxury weekend away.
