Transactive® for
pricing and rating of VoIP services
Altitude Telecom reduces cost of business IP services launch
thanks to Highdeal

2006 – Highdeal, the leader in pricing
and rating for IP and mobile services today announced that Altitude
Telecom, specialist provider of IP solutions and a global provider
of telecommunications services has selected Highdeal Transactive® to
price and rate its business IP services.
Altitude Telecom has over 5,000 business customers, a vast majority
of which are large multi-site accounts to which they provide
IP/MPLS VPN services, interconnections to LAN networks, Internet
access, hosting and VoIP services, using both fixed and wireless
technologies.
Altitude Telecom required a future-proof,
flexible pricing and rating solution for its VoIP services,
as well as a service that
could easily integrate into their existing billing system and
connect to the existing customer back office. Highdeal was able
to meet these requirements in an initial testing phase and its
flexibility and fast time to market for price plans were key
reasons why Altitude Telecom selected Highdeal Transactive®.
The modular architecture of Highdeal Transactive, based on Java/XML
enables rapid integration with Sage software, provides Altitude
Telecom with easy to manage pricing and rating and unconstrained
flexibility for the personalization of offers.
Altitude Telecom also required a
software solution suited to the needs of VoIP with the technical
capabilities to integrate
to the IP telephony platform Cirpack, their chosen VoIP infrastructure
provider. Highdeal Transactive works alongside the soft switches
from Cirpack, who manage Altitude Telecom’s infrastructure,
VoIP calls from subscribers and long distance calls with other
VoIP operators.
